Wine Tote #2

I created this wine tote today, same as the other, just a different shirt. I am having fun with this along with re-using an old good quality shirt I found at a second hand store. Later I will find a use for the rest of the shirt as it is wonderful material.

Up-Cycled Wine Tote

Today I made an UP-cycled wine tote, meaning I use a long sleeved shirt and made a wine tote out of it. A great way to use an old but good quality shirt that no longer serves it's purpose as a shirt to wear, so now it will dress up that wine bottle and make a very nice gift. It has a pocket on the outside if you want to put a cork screw and a wine cork in it also. I love making things and this was just a fun thing I happen to find at a sale I was at the other day, but decided I can make it better as I am pretty fussy about what I sew and am very particular about how I sew it... All seams are serged and finished, and same colour threads are used if possible. I think it turned out better than I had expected it to. Will be on my Etsy shop soon for sale. I will get a better picture on here soon.

Isabelle Vintage Corduroy

Very simple but fun! This is a One of a Kind collection. Brown Corduroy with an Embroidered Front Flap. I have embroidered a rose spray on the front flap which is done in purple, lilac, and green and a matching accent Rose embroidered when you lift the flap, I have also included a green decorative stitch along the edge of the flap, shoulder straps and around the opening of the purse. It has 2 side by side pockets on the inside. Inside is lined with a brown gingham lining. The purse has interfacing between the fabrics for stability.

Height - 11"
Width 13" at widest part
9" at opening
Shoulder strap 29 1/2" from end to end,
Strap is 1 1/4" wide
